As an Advanced Practitioner in Occupational Medicine, you’ll work with companies who have contracted SCL Health for their occupational medicine needs.
- This is a float position that will be based out of our Wheat Ridge, CO location and travel to 3 other locations in the Denver area.
- Your hours will be Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, no call, no weekends
In this line of work every day is different, that’s why you’ll need to know how to:
- Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment
- Assess and document plan of care for work-related injuries
- Be able to effectively communicate explanations for plans of care to employers and adjusters
We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
- Unrestricted NP or PA license in the state of Colorado or able to obtain
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Occupational Medicine or Urgent Care as a PA or NP, prefer 2 years
- DOT Certification
- DEA and full prescriptive authority
- Basic Life Support Certification
